We are seeking experienced contract designers with expertise in commercial furniture systems and ancillary products to join our unique and rapidly growing organization.
Blue River Services supports commercial furniture dealerships, A&D firms, and industry partners by providing industry expertise in sales, marketing, & design. We work closely with our clients, providing best possible solutions to complete the sale. Our team enjoys a wide variety of projects from single spaces to multi-story buildings. We are involved in commercial spaces, healthcare, government projects, hospitality and K-12. Our designers work independently with our clients offering the freedom of flexibility and ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Work one-on-one with our clients, be highly communicative, self-directed, detail-oriented, and extremely organized.
+ Use proficiency with CET, AutoCAD, CAP/Spec, and Adobe Creative Suite to consistently produce high quality deliverables under deadlines.
+ Apply experience with systems furniture and ancillary products to create best solutions regarding space planning, finishes, and specifications
+ Ability to wear many hats and manage multiple projects.
+ Ability to attend meetings with varied schedules, perform live design with confidence
Qualified Candidates:
+ Have 3+ years of commercial furniture dealership experience
+ Have 2+ years of CET and AutoCad experience
+ Have 2+ years CAP (Cyncly) or Spec (Project Matrix) experience
+ Can work at least 25 hours per week
+ Ability to research new products and price books
+ Ability to create presentations and lookbooks
+ Are currently working at a commercial furniture dealership, manufacturer or rep group
+ Experience with any or all of the following: Knoll, Herman Miller, Haworth, Steelcase, Teknion, Allsteel, HON, AIS
